Young Tourism Leader inspires success in tourism
Our Year 11 and 12 Certificate II in Tourism students enjoyed a special virtual presentation with Young Tourism Leader, Georgie Arnold, today. Growing up in the aviation/tourism industry, Georgie dreamed of becoming a commercial helicopter pilot and after completing high school attained her pilot’s licence at the age of 19. She is now a charter pilot and the social media marketing manager for Townsville Helicopters.
The Young Tourism Leaders program champions accomplished Queenslanders who are making their mark in the tourism industry, and highlight the exciting and diverse paths that tourism careers offer.
