Year 10 Industry Talks
A big thank you to our guest speakers on Monday at our Year 10 Industry talks!
This year we welcomed two alumni Adam Wright from Fergus Builders and Grace McDonald from Elders. We also welcomed Mark Strobel from Hamilton Island and Andrew Turner and Ian Atkinson from Aviation Services Australia.
Our students loved hearing about the variety in your careers and how unique each of your pathways were to finding success. Thank you to our Head of Department Transition and Pathways Jess Dray for organising the event for our students.
Link and Launch
Link and Launch has a few busy weeks ahead with Career Expo's at Bowen and Mackay combined with student engagement. During this next term, I will be having informal conversations with each of our Year 12 students to talk about how Link and Launch can support them post graduation.
