Join the Australian Air Force Cadets Squadron

Looking for an exciting and rewarding challenge? The Australian Air Force Cadets (AAFC) 110 Squadron Whitsundays is now recruiting! Open to youth aged 13-18, the AAFC offers hands-on aviation experiences, leadership training, teamwork skills, and outdoor adventures such as bivouacs and navigation exercises. Cadets also participate in community events, fundraising, and inter-squadron competitions, all while developing valuable life skills.

Dream of flying? The AAFC provides incredible opportunities for cadets to access flight training scholarships, with the potential to fly solo before they even get their driver's licence! Whether you're passionate about aviation or just looking for a unique experience, the sky is the limit.

Whether it’s a backyard barbeque, a picnic in the park, or a dinner with family and friends, 'Team Whitsundays Dancing CEOs' are inviting you to serve up not only delicious food but also hope and support for vulnerable women and the children in their care.

To 'Plate Up For DV' simply head to www.mygivingtable.com.au, selecting the ‘Team Whitsundays Dancing CEOs’ Kate Purdie, Julie Telford, Candice Crossley, and Alice Harriott, register the date for your feast, the number of people you’d like to invite and nominate how much you wish them to pay.

My Giving Table will then create an event link to share with family and friends, as well as tracking ticket sales and RSVPs, taking payment from your guests, paying the chosen charity (Women's Legal Service Queensland), and providing you with a tax donation receipt.

Best of all, you don’t even have to cook if you don’t want to thanks to the team at Fish D’Vine, who will deliver from their brand-new provisioning menu direct to your door.

Plate Up For DV from now until the end of May and you’ll literally be helping to save lives – every little bit goes a long way towards improving outcomes for the women and children in our communities who are impacted by domestic violence.
