Lillian youngest to compete on world stage
At the end of Term 1, our Year 11 student Lillian Kelly travelled with the Australian ladies team to Buenos Aries to compete in the Horseball World Cup. Ten countries competed in the ladies division with Australia one of the newest teams to start competing in the sport. Competition was tough, but the Australian team came away with much needed high level match experience. Lillian was happy to score 4 goals throughout the tournament and was the youngest player competing across both divisions. Congratulations Lillian!
Creativity on show in town-wide art installation Festival
Have you spotted a rock wallaby around the Whitsundays? Many of these colourful and creative rock wallaby cut outs were painted by our students and staff in celebration of the inaugural Proserpine Rock Wallaby Festival and make up the town-wide art installation. The festival will be held from the 8th-11th May at the Proserpine Entertainment Centre. Be sure to keep an eye out for them across the region!
