Cross Country next week

Get ready to lace up your shoes and join us for our annual FUN RUN. Whether you're an avid runner, a casual jogger, or just in it for the fun, this event is for everyone! Students run in age groups with our seniors running first followed by the 12/13s, then 14s, 15s and last of all the 16s. The course is set around Proserpine starting at school, down Hinschen Street, Marathon Street, Fuljames Street and back along Renwick Road into our school gate.

Date: Tuesday 6th May, 2025
Time: 9:00am (Period 1)
Wear: Sports uniform, hat and running shoes

The top 6 runners for each age group will represent our school at the Whitsunday Cross Country championships in Collinsville. We wish you all the best of luck!

Dash on national stage for beach volleyball

Congratulations to our Year 11 student Dash Turner who represented our school on the national stage at the Australian Youth Beach Volleyball competition last term.

It was the first time Dash had competed at the beach volleyball event, having previously competed two years ago in the volleyball championships in Bendigo, Victoria.

Dash enjoyed competing with her playing partner Abby, with their first win in the competition a highlight.

"It was fun to meet and mingle with new friends from different states," Dash said. Great work Dash!

Students represent at sport State Titles  

Congratulations to our Year 9 student Eli Wallis who is representing North Queensland at the Football State Championships in Cairns this week. Going down in two close games on Monday, Eli's team recorded a win on Tuesday in the hot weather conditions, putting their football skills to good practice. 

We have both a boys and girls team competing in the Under 15 Division at the Volleyball State Championships in Caloundra this week. Well done to you all!
